Tahini Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Packed with beta-carotene, a precursor to Vitamin A, fiber, and delicious flavor, these tahini roasted sweet potatoes are a simple addition to your table.

Tahini Roasted Sweet Potatoes


  • 4 tablespoons tahini paste

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 3 teaspoons mirin

  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 2 Japanese sweet potatoes, diced

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

  • 1 bunch scallions, sliced


  1. Place the tahini, soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, and red pepper flakes in a bowl and whisk to combine.

  2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  3. Slice or dice the sweet potato evenly and distribute onto a baking tray with parchment paper.

  4. Drizzle half of the marinade on top, save the remaining for after. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.

  5. Once the potatoes are ready, drizzle the remaining amount of marinade on top and serve.

Optional: Garnish with scallions
