Spiced Salmon

  • 2 pieces of 4-6 oz Filet of Salmon

  • 1 tbsp Paprika

  • 1tbsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 tsp Thyme

  • 1 tsp Oregano

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Himalayan sea salt

  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 4 pieces of thinly sliced lemons

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
  1. Place each spice in a sealable ziplock bag and combine.

  2. Mix the oil, mustard and lemon juice.

  3. Layer a baking tray with parchment paper and place the fish on top.

  4. Place the lemon mustard mixture on to the fish and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

  5. Then, sprinkle desired amount of seasoning onto the fish and place the sliced lemons on top.

  6. Bake on 350 for about one hour.

Additional notes

Tip: I usually like my skin crispy, if the fish is ready in less than an hour I sometimes peel the skin off and stick it back in the oven alone for about 5-10 minutes on 400 degrees. Enjoy!
