Herbed Haricot Verts
This recipe has become a staple on the Friday night dinner table. Its nice to try new flavors from time to time, to keep things exciting! I hope you enjoy this one.
Herbed Haricot Verts
PREP 10 minutes
COOK 4 hours
Ingredients

2 lb French string beans

1 tablespoon fresh garlic, crushed

6 tablespoons olive oil

1 Vidalia onion, diced

1 tablespoon of salt

1-2 tablespoons Herb de Provence

14 cherry tomatoes, halved

4-6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 350ºF.

Layer a baking tray with the olive oil and combine the onions.

Add in the string beans, balsamic vinegar, fresh garlic, cherry tomatoes, Herb de Provence, salt and pepper and mix.

Roast in the oven covered for one hour.

Once the string beans are cooked, toss them around for a bit and uncover it.

Heat the oven to 400ºF and roast for 3 hours. Be sure to keep checking up on it as it cooks.
